A Mothers Story of Autism

The kids are gone this week but we have a special co-host as Heidi joins us on this episode.

We also have a very special guest, Katie Steed.  Katie shares her journey, struggles and joys of having a son with autism.  Katie is also the Disability Specialist for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and shares her unique perspective on how faith based communities are adapting to people with disabilities.

We finish with Katie sharing some stories from her world travels and I try and get her to embarrass Heidi, who she has been friends with for a long time.
